On 27 October 2026, the team of Royal Group Phnom Penh SEZ Plc., led by its CEO, Mr. UEMATSU Hiroshi, had the honor of meeting with H.E. Chea Vuthy, Secretary General of the Cambodian Investment Board (CIB) of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), to express sincere appreciation for his continued support and to discuss the zone’s development progress, key achievements, current challenges, and future plans.

During the meeting, Mr. UEMATSU and the team expressed our sincere appreciation to H.E. Chea Vuthy for his valuable support and guidance over the past 20 years, which have contributed to the development and growth of Royal Group Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone (RGPPSEZ). The team also shared updates on preparations for the upcoming celebration of our 20th anniversary, marking two decades of commitment to Cambodia’s industrial development and investment promotion.

We were also honored to report on key developments within the zone, including the continued growth in export value, reflecting the contributions of its investor community and manufacturing enterprises to Cambodia’s economy. The team also discussed current challenges and outlined future plans and priorities aimed at strengthening the zone’s competitiveness and supporting sustainable growth.
