Job Description
Work closely with all departments to ensure that legal and regulatory environment, health and safety are compliant; and safety and security are properly managed. Ensure that RGPPSEZ achieves its objectives and makes the best use of its employees by proactively preventing safety risks and supporting SEZ-wide risk management.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist EHS Manager on the ongoing development of the Environment, Health, Safety (EHS) and assist Assistant Security Manager for security programs by using internal and external resources.
- Assist EHS Manager develop policies and procedures to ensure the health, safety, and security of all employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Monitor the company’s operations, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with Environment, Health, and Safety regulations.
- Assist in preventing and eliminating injury and illness to employees and help companies comply with safety procedures.
- Investigate and report accidents and related incidents, recommending changes to ensure compliance with EHS regulations.
- Investigate accidents to identify causes and prevent recurrence.
- Maintain good working relationships with insurers and relevant authorities to safeguard company interests and ensure a safe working environment.
- Identify, assess, and manage environmental risks to prevent pollution, reduce waste, control emissions, and use energy efficiently.
- Conduct fire drills and emergency management drills for RGPPSEZ staff regularly.
- Develop, implement, and enforce RGPPSEZ traffic safety plans and policies.
- Develop and coordinate security training programs with relevant parties.
- Coordinate with local authorities and police during emergencies within RGPPSEZ.
- Lead root cause investigations and reporting of EHS and security incidents or accidents.
- Assist in developing and implementing company security policies and regulations.
- Ensure completion of other tasks assigned by senior management.
- Perform other tasks assigned by line managers.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- BA in any related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Good management and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good team-building skills.
- Ability to deal with different people professionally.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently.
- Ability to work independently under high pressure.
- Ability to use the English language.
