On 23 October 2026, Marunix (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. celebrated the 15th anniversary of its establishment and the grand opening of its second factory at the Royal Group Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone (RGPPSEZ), marking a significant milestone in the company’s continued growth and investment in Cambodia.

Established in June 2011, Marunix (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. specializes in manufacturing wire harnesses for electronic equipment. Over the past 15 years, the company has developed its operations in Cambodia and currently employs approximately 650 workers. The opening of its second factory represents another important step in expanding its production capacity and strengthening its manufacturing operations.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Hirano Shinya, Representative Director of Marunix Corporation and Managing Director of Marunix (Cambodia) Co., Ltd., emphasized that the completion of the second factory marks the beginning of a new phase of development for the company in Cambodia.

“The completion of this second factory building is by no means a finish line. The Marunix Group will continue to foster the further growth of our Cambodia factory—not only expanding our production capacity, but also actively committing to human resource development and the enhancement of our technological capabilities. Furthermore, we aim to further develop this Cambodian plant as a core factory of our group, growing it into a hub that delivers value to customers worldwide.”
